DONALD E. SHAMP
We honor the legacy of a great business leader, industry innovator, friend to all, and loving family patriarch whose goal was to laugh every day.
Donald Shamp graduated from Manchester College in 1959 with a B.S. in Chemistry, and then in 1963 earned a Chemical Engineering Degree from Toledo University. Donald worked at Libbey Owens Ford in Rossford, Ohio, for 25 years as an Assistant Manager and at John-Manville for 15 years as a National Furnace Engineering Troubleshooter.
As an industry innovator, Donald held 13 patents in glass manufacturing processes. He ended his career as the President and CEO of the Fuse Tech / Hot Tech Group.
